Boat and Beyond Phuket
Based in the Thalang area of Phuket, this tour agency specialises in guided boat excursions across the surrounding waters, taking visitors to destinations including the Kai Islands, Rang Island, and James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay. Both half-day and full-day options are available, making it accessible for travellers with tighter schedules as well as those wanting a more complete day out on the water.
Tours are led by named, knowledgeable local guides — past visitors have highlighted guides by name, pointing to a personalised rather than mass-tourism experience. The atmosphere is adventure-focused but relaxed, with flexible itineraries and strong on-the-ground organisation. Communication ahead of tours is handled via WhatsApp, and reviewers consistently note quick responses and smooth logistics from pickup through to return. The Kai Islands, in particular, are noted for being calmer and less crowded than alternatives like Phi Phi, which may appeal to travellers seeking a quieter experience.

Reviews from Google
Be ready for adventure with knowledge locals! Visiting three islands all in 4 hours! This tour is not only fun, but super flexible. Water will be involved and when you have a guide like Nut you will have a lot of amazing photos! Captain Thun was a master getting us to the islands even with higher winds! He made sure the ride was comfortable and fast. Wind, rain, and tide all affect what's possible so be flexible. If your guide recommends not swimming it's for your safety. Hopping in and out of the traditional Thai long tail boat is a blast and there is so much to explore in a short time. Our guide Nut was super fun, knew all the best angles, and made sure we were safe (perfect for a susprise or proposal). Huge note, led the staff know if the tour is for a special event and they can make special accomodations like balloons for birthdays!
It rained 85% of my tour. But it was still a great tour. The hotel guy was a tad bit late but it wasn't a big deal , as traffic is crazy in the am. Once I arrived to the Pier , Nat my assistant was very helpful from start to finish. He took all of my pictures , prepared my lunch set up and even carried my bag for me. He was truly an amazing assistant. They make sure everything is in order with contacting you the day before. It sucked it rained most of the trip but we can't control mother nature and I was on holiday so there was no rescheduleing. Nonetheless It was a 10 / 10 I recommend.
Amazing trip! We went for half day Rang and Kai island trip. Great organization, fast response from Janny in whatsapp, and a very lovely on board assistant, Bream. Everything went smoothly and the experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
