Sriayuthaya Lion Park
Sriayuthaya Lion Park is a full zoo set in Tha Ruea District, Ayutthaya province, offering visitors the chance to see and interact with a wide variety of animals including lions, tigers, giraffes, crocodiles, orangutans, and other primates. The park is particularly popular with families, and its affordable entrance fees and reasonably priced on-site food make it an accessible outing for travellers of most budgets. Animal feeding experiences are available at individual enclosures for around 50 THB per point, adding an interactive element that goes beyond passive viewing. The layout is well-planned, with a clear walking route that makes it easy to move between exhibits without backtracking. Visitors consistently note that the grounds are clean and well-maintained, and staff are described as friendly and helpful throughout. The park also offers animal shows, though reviews suggest these are modest in scale. As a complement to Ayutthaya's famous historical temples and ruins, the park provides a change of pace that appeals especially to younger travellers or those visiting with children. Specific opening hours and ticket prices are not listed online, so it is advisable to confirm current details directly with the park before visiting. The site is a short drive from Ayutthaya's main tourist areas, making it a straightforward addition to a broader regional itinerary. Bringing cash is recommended for the feeding stations, and comfortable walking shoes are practical given the amount of ground to cover. Arriving earlier in the day generally means cooler temperatures and more active animals.

Visitor Reviews
A great place and excellent value for families with young kids, though visitors of all ages are welcome. Ticket prices are very reasonable. There is plenty of open parking space, food is affordably priced, and animal feed is very cheap (50 THB per basket). Compared to Safari World, it’s much less crowded, which made the experience more enjoyable. My kids especially loved feeding and petting the animals. The staff are friendly, and all areas are very clean. Overall, a fun and relaxing place for a family outing.
Sriayuthaya Lion Park is a large zoo with a very wide variety of animals, so it can be a fun stop if you want to see many species in one place. The park is set up for visitors and easy to walk around, with lots of photo spots. Many highlights come with extra paid activities, so costs can add up. Overall, a big zoo with lots to see, best if you enjoy animal parks and don’t mind a commercial, photo-driven vibe.
Very recommended to visit here, entrance fee is so cheap, many activities, many feeding point to animals (50 THB/point). All staff is so friendly and nice. Giraffe, tiger, crocodile and many kinds primate is so much.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
