Sriayuthaya Lion Park
Sriayuthaya Lion Park is a full zoo located in the Tha Ruea District of Ayutthaya province, offering an extensive range of animals including lions, tigers, giraffes, crocodiles, orangutans, and various primates. The park is particularly well-suited to families with children, though visitors of all ages find it a worthwhile stop, especially as a change of pace from Ayutthaya's historical temple circuit. Affordable entrance fees and reasonably priced on-site food make it accessible for most budgets. The grounds are consistently described as clean and well-maintained, and the walking route is logically laid out, allowing visitors to move through exhibits without unnecessary backtracking. Interactive feeding stations are available at individual enclosures for approximately 50 THB per point, adding a hands-on element to the visit. Animal shows are also offered, though these tend to be modest in scale. Staff are noted as friendly and attentive throughout the park. Specific opening hours and ticket prices are not listed online, so confirming current details directly with the park before visiting is advisable. The site is a short drive from Ayutthaya's central tourist areas, making it a straightforward addition to a broader regional itinerary. Arriving earlier in the day is recommended for cooler temperatures and more active animals, and bringing cash is practical for the feeding stations. Comfortable walking shoes are sensible given the amount of ground to cover.

Visitor Reviews
A great place and excellent value for families with young kids, though visitors of all ages are welcome. Ticket prices are very reasonable. There is plenty of open parking space, food is affordably priced, and animal feed is very cheap (50 THB per basket). Compared to Safari World, it’s much less crowded, which made the experience more enjoyable. My kids especially loved feeding and petting the animals. The staff are friendly, and all areas are very clean. Overall, a fun and relaxing place for a family outing.
Sriayuthaya Lion Park is a large zoo with a very wide variety of animals, so it can be a fun stop if you want to see many species in one place. The park is set up for visitors and easy to walk around, with lots of photo spots. Many highlights come with extra paid activities, so costs can add up. Overall, a big zoo with lots to see, best if you enjoy animal parks and don’t mind a commercial, photo-driven vibe.
Very recommended to visit here, entrance fee is so cheap, many activities, many feeding point to animals (50 THB/point). All staff is so friendly and nice. Giraffe, tiger, crocodile and many kinds primate is so much.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
