This is a hands-on wildlife park rather than a walk-past-the-glass zoo. The whole thing is built around getting close to the animals, feeding them, photographing them, being near them instead of peering across a moat. If that idea makes you uncomfortable, and for some travelers it does, this won't be your morning. If you've got kids who want to actually do something, it's an easy win.
Plan on either a half day or a full one. The grounds are outdoors and you'll be on your feet, so the difference between arriving at eight and arriving at one is enormous in a Thai March. Mornings are cooler and the animals move around more. Afternoons are hot, slow, and busy at the popular encounters. It's out in Bang Lamung, off the main Pattaya strip, so factor in a taxi or a songthaew each way rather than assuming you'll wander over.
