Family Park Pattaya
Family Park Pattaya is an open-air farm attraction on the outskirts of Pattaya, designed primarily for families with young children. The park is home to a variety of animals including goats, sheep, ponies, horses, camels, deer, and donkeys, with some animals roaming freely throughout the grounds. Free animal shows featuring parrots, dogs, pigs, and sheep racing add entertainment value beyond simply walking around, and the park also includes castle-like play structures, colourful decorations, and homemade ice cream on offer. Visitors should go in with realistic expectations. While the atmosphere is relaxed and the freely roaming animals are a genuine highlight for young kids, some reviewers note that parts of the park feel dated and certain areas appear to be underused or in need of maintenance. The animal variety is modest, and opinions are mixed on whether the entrance fee of around 300 baht per adult represents good value. That said, families with small children tend to find it an enjoyable outing, particularly on quieter weekdays. The park is open daily from 9:00 AM, with Friday opening slightly earlier at 8:30 AM, and closes at 6:00 PM. Visiting on a weekday is recommended to avoid crowds. As the grounds are largely open-air, light, breathable clothing and sun protection are advisable, especially during warmer months. Check the Facebook page before visiting for updated show schedules and any changes to operating hours.

Visitor Reviews
Good Family Friendly Place ❤️ Kids enjoy attractions and decorations around. Animals are walking outside cages, which is adorable). > There are free shows with animals ( Parrots, Dogs and more ) > Nature and Fresh Air > Kids themed decorations and attractions. > Train, Kids slides, Lake boats and more ✅️👍Only Recommendation for Family Park is to improve "shows audio sound" and speakers. Very load noise from microphones. Audience are getting tired from load music and auditors that are speaking. It's quite boring and tiring to listen to loud Thai language speaker ( both for Adults and Kids, Thai and Foreign audience as we noticed, people are leaving show before it ends..). >💪👍 Maybe, putting already recorded audio program with claiming music on a speaker would be better than loud auditors! Thank you 😊 🙏 💓 Overall it's a still great place to enjoy, send time coming here with kids !
There is so much to see and do for the entire family. I enjoyed the shows especially the pig and sheep racing. My friend won a price which meditation extra fun. Also try the homemade ice cream, it's delicious. The only reason for not giving 4 stars is because the rides were not working, but there were pony rides for young children and easy walking paths for seniors.
We went on a weekday. It's an open area where goats roam freely. Some sheep and goats, ponies, horses, camel, deer, donkey, were caged. There are some castle like structures where we can climb and role play. The tram wasn't running on the day we went. That's sad. However there were a couple of rides that were working and kids went on them. Spotted a decent toilet. And also an ice cream place. I'm not a strawberry person but Strawberry ice cream tasted the best here as we got one in every flavour. There are NO halal food inside this park. So ice cream was our saviour. You can plan to spend an hour here.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
