Rock View Terrace
Perched on the rocky coastline of Ko Siboya in northern Krabi, Rock View Terrace is a small guesthouse and terrace retreat that trades sandy beach access for dramatic rock formations, open sea views, and an exceptionally quiet setting. While swimming is accessible directly from the rocks, this is not a conventional beach resort — it appeals to travellers looking to slow down, take in the scenery, and experience a less-visited corner of Krabi away from the crowds. Accommodation ranges from budget bungalows to fan rooms overlooking the sea, and the atmosphere is consistently described by guests as calm and welcoming. The owner and staff receive frequent praise for their attentiveness and warmth. Prospective guests should note that some room types are basic — certain options feature bamboo partition walls and shared outdoor facilities, so reviewing specific room categories carefully before booking is worthwhile if comfort is a priority. Ko Siboya is a small island, and reaching Rock View Terrace requires crossing to the island via the local ferry from Khlong Thom or Klong Hin piers. Opening hours and activity availability are not listed online, so contacting the property directly before arrival is advisable. This suits independent travellers and those content with simple, nature-focused accommodation rather than resort-style amenities.

Visitor Reviews
We had an amazing 6 nights at Rock View Terrace. 🧡 The owner and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the small budget bungalow which was what you can expect for the price. We were very happy about it, and there is a balcony where you can dry your clothes, lay in a hammock or just enjoy the sea view. There is no reason to worry about the no AC since there ia a perfect temperature at night. We didn’t even have the fan going. 🧡 The food is really nice at the restaurant, they do laundry at a very fair price plus they even took us to the pier for free after checking out. They texted us before arrival to pick us up, but we didn’t see the message until after we arrived 🥲 The surroundings are very beautiful, the kayaks are free to use 🛶 and you can watch the beautiful sunset from the plateaus 🌅
We enjoyed our stay at Rock View. Fan bungalow looking over the sea was very comfortable with a very firm bed. This isn't a beach resort. It is perched on the rocks but you can swim easily from the little pier. Toong and his team are relaxed and welcoming. He also arranged onward long tail boat transfer to Koh Siboya for us. Great location for start of walk up Koh Pu mountain. As well as the restaurant at Rock View we had delicious food and drinks at Baan Nok Air Cafe, 5 minutes walk away. In Koh Phu village the crab tempura at Chaolay Seafood is amazing.
We came just by chance looking for a place to have a stop on the way to the Pier. It happened to be one of the most amazing places on the whole island. The peaceful atmosphere, quiet surrounding and amazing view are one of the kind. Next time we will book a room for sure.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
