Rock View Terrace
Perched on the rocky coastline of Ko Siboya in northern Krabi, Rock View Terrace is a small guesthouse and terrace retreat that trades sandy beach access for dramatic rock formations, open sea views, and an exceptionally quiet setting. While swimming is accessible directly from the rocks, this is not a conventional beach resort — it appeals to travellers looking to slow down, take in the scenery, and experience a less-visited corner of Krabi away from the crowds. Accommodation ranges from budget bungalows to fan rooms overlooking the sea, and the atmosphere is consistently described by guests as calm and welcoming. The owner and staff receive frequent praise for their attentiveness and warmth. Prospective guests should note that some room types are basic — certain options feature bamboo partition walls and shared outdoor facilities, so reviewing specific room categories carefully before booking is worthwhile if comfort is a priority. Ko Siboya is a small island, and reaching Rock View Terrace requires crossing to the island via the local ferry from Khlong Thom or Klong Hin piers. Activity availability is not listed online, so contacting the property directly before arrival is advisable. This suits independent travellers and those content with simple, nature-focused accommodation rather than resort-style amenities.

Reviews from Google
We had an amazing 6 nights at Rock View Terrace. 🧡 The owner and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the small budget bungalow which was what you can expect for the price. We were very happy about it, and there is a balcony where you can dry your clothes, lay in a hammock or just enjoy the sea view. There is no reason to worry about the no AC since there ia a perfect temperature at night. We didn’t even have the fan going. 🧡 The food is really nice at the restaurant, they do laundry at a very fair price plus they even took us to the pier for free after checking out. They texted us before arrival to pick us up, but we didn’t see the message until after we arrived 🥲 The surroundings are very beautiful, the kayaks are free to use 🛶 and you can watch the beautiful sunset from the plateaus 🌅
We came just by chance looking for a place to have a stop on the way to the Pier. It happened to be one of the most amazing places on the whole island. The peaceful atmosphere, quiet surrounding and amazing view are one of the kind. Next time we will book a room for sure.
Save yourselves from a lot of discomfort: not just bungalows. The so-called ‘rooms’ consists of a large space separated with paper-thin bamboo shields next to the stinking outhouse style toilets. You hear everything and anything your neighbor does. The dogs on the parameters are wild and prone to go to attack at dusk. Food bad and yet the prices are the same as respectable and actual bungalows by the beach. Owner charges you for things you haven’t bought and when caught it’s ‘oh hehe’. A big no no

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
