The Xperience
Tucked away on the quieter western side of Koh Samui near Lipa Noi, The Xperience is an open-air art and event venue that draws inspiration from the creative, free-spirited aesthetic of festivals like Burning Man. Spread across a large site, the park is filled with scattered art installations, sculptural environments, and creative zones that reward exploration — visitors report that even repeat visits reveal corners and areas missed before. The atmosphere shifts distinctly between day and night. By day, the natural surroundings provide the backdrop for the various installations, while after sunset the park takes on a different character entirely, with creative lighting transforming the space into something more immersive and otherworldly. Reviewers consistently highlight the friendly and attentive staff, the relaxed crowd, and an overall vibe that encourages self-expression. Food is available on-site, with visitors praising both the quality and the setting. For travellers spending several days on Koh Samui, The Xperience offers a genuine alternative to beach-focused activities. It is particularly well-suited to those looking for an evening outing, as the lighting installations are best appreciated after dark. As opening hours are not publicly listed, it is worth contacting the venue directly before visiting to confirm current schedules and any entry requirements.

Visitor Reviews
Unique futuristic park in Burning Man style. Huge area full of hidden installations. After sunset it's way new experience with creative lightings. Visited it 2 times and still haven't found some zones. Each restroom have its own special design. Food/drink price is 2-3X but that's fine. This park worth every baht! Must visit if you're on Samui!
Nice atmosphere and not overcrowded when we went. The team running the park were attentive without being pushy. Would recommend if you want something different from beach days.
The Experience was amazing! Everything from the food to the vibe was 10/10. Great food, beautiful decor, and excellent service. The Experience truly lives up to its name!
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
