Jungle Safari Tour
This adventure tour operator brings visitors into the lesser-explored interior of Koh Samui, going well beyond the island's beaches to reveal hidden waterfalls, tropical fruit trees, elephant encounters, and scenic viewpoints that many travellers never see. Based in Tambon Ang Thong, the company runs guided safari-style expeditions through the island's jungle terrain, with experienced local guides leading small groups to a curated selection of sightseeing stops throughout the day.
Visitors consistently highlight the quality and friendliness of the guides, who bring genuine local knowledge to each tour — explaining the island's native flora, pointing out wildlife, and tailoring the pace and activities to suit the group. Tours can include waterfall hikes, fruit tastings, and visits to elephants, making for a varied and engaging full-day experience. Private tour options are available for those who prefer a more personalised itinerary.
Tours run seven days a week from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and the operator offers pickup and drop-off from accommodation, which reviewers note is punctual and well-organised. Visitors planning a waterfall hike should be aware that the dry season can affect water levels. Lightweight, breathable clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended for jungle trails. Checking the website at junglesafaritourskohsamui.com ahead of time is advisable to review available tour options and arrange booking.

Reviews from Google
We recently took a private Jungle Tour Safari that was nothing short of spectacular! Our itinerary was packed with incredible sights and experiences. We started with a visit to the elephants, where we had the option to interact more closely for an additional fee. The Magic Garden was enchanting, filled with unique sculptures and lush greenery. The highlight was definitely the viewpoints, including Mr. Mong Viewpoint and Maenam Viewpoint, where the vistas were breathtaking. Driving off-road to Khao Teoy added an exhilarating touch to our adventure. The lunch featuring local Thai cuisine was delicious and gave us a real taste of local flavors. Our guide was fantastic—very friendly, speaks well english, knowledgeable, and professional, ensuring our experience was both enjoyable and safe. The availability of fresh water in the 4x4 was a thoughtful addition that kept us hydrated throughout the day. Overall, this was an unforgettable journey with stunning views and magical moments. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of the jungle!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Popular Activities Online
Booking platforms like GetYourGuide give you instant confirmation and, on many activities, free cancellation — and you can read recent reviews before committing. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
