LOMA Adventure Playground
LOMA Adventure Playground is a popular family destination in Chiang Rai that combines an indoor play space with a cafe, making it a practical and enjoyable stop for parents travelling with young children. The playground features climbing equipment, a ball pit, and a building block and toy zone, with all equipment noted by regular visitors as clean, safe, and well-maintained. The relaxed cafe setting means parents can sit comfortably while children burn off energy in a supervised environment. Entry is priced at 200 baht per child, which includes two hours of play along with a complimentary snack and drink. Adults pay 50 baht entry and can apply a coupon toward drinks from the cafe menu. The food on offer is well-regarded by visitors, with multiple families praising the lunch options as both tasty and reasonably priced. Clean bathroom facilities are available on-site, and there is ample seating throughout for accompanying adults. LOMA draws repeat visitors, with several reviewers noting they have returned multiple times with their children. It appears particularly well-suited to children aged around three to six years old, though the space caters to a broader range of young ages. As opening hours are not confirmed online, it is worth contacting the venue directly or checking locally before visiting, especially during public holidays or weekends when family-oriented attractions in Chiang Rai tend to be busier.

Visitor Reviews
The playground is great; the kids can use their energy climbing and playing in the ball pit, which is a lot of fun. The toy and building block section has a bit too few items. For the promotional price, it's okay: 1 hour for 120฿, 2 hours for 179฿ (adult 50฿). The voucher can be used to get a discount on some drinks, but it would be better if it could be used on all drinks. It's a bit confusing; I wanted coffee, but the discount only applied to smoothies. The staff are friendly and have good service. They're smiling and welcoming to children. The food is delicious.
This is the third time I've brought the kids here, and they're having so much fun! All the play equipment is safe, clean, and suitable for children. There's also a zone where children can use their imagination. The atmosphere and location are also conducive to closely supervising the children while they're having snacks.
The cafe is 200 baht per child and 50 baht per adult. Children get a free snack and drink. Adults can use a coupon to get a discount on drinks. The children had a lot of fun. They seem to be constantly renovating it. I'd like to see more kitchen toys and career sets added.
Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
