Nok Thai Tour & Travel Service

5.0(67 reviews)

Based in Ayutthaya's Pra Nakhon area, Nok Thai Tour & Travel Service is a boutique tour and travel agency built around the expertise of its lead guide, Nok, who has earned a strong reputation for delivering well-organised, personalised tours across some of Thailand's most iconic destinations. Popular itineraries include visits to Bangkok landmarks such as the Grand Palace, as well as day trips to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market, among other highlights. Visitors consistently highlight Nok's punctuality, strong command of English, and genuine knowledge of Thai culture and history. The service is particularly well-suited to travellers who prefer private tours over group settings, as the experience is tailored around individual interests and itineraries. Communication before arrival is a noted strength, with Nok responding promptly to enquiries and working with guests to shape their plans in advance. When unexpected changes arise, such as a venue closure, the itinerary is adapted without fuss. The agency operates seven days a week from early morning until 10pm, making it accessible for travellers with a range of schedules. Those planning a visit are advised to make contact well before their trip to discuss specific interests and confirm availability, particularly during peak travel seasons. The website at nokthaitour.com provides a starting point for enquiries and tour information.

Visitor Reviews

Nok is an excellent tour guide. Prior to our arrival, I have had numerous communications with Nok regarding the itinerary and our particular interests. Nok was always prompt to my inquiries and requests and made the necessary adjustments to ensure we are satisfied with the final itinerary. My wife and I plus another couple were very pleased to have her as our tour guide for a day in Bangkok. From the time we were picked up at the cruise terminal in early morning to the evening when we were driven back to the terminal safely and on schedule, we were absolutely impressed by Nok's professionalism, knowledge and passion for her work and service. We had a wonderful and very memorable time with her visiting the famed temples (unfortunately the Grand Palace was closed due to the sudden passing of the Queen mother) and in a private long boat canal tour exploring Bangkok's neighbourhoods and buildings on water that you don't get to see from the land side. The restaurant (Krua Apsorn) where we stopped for lunch offered delicious local Thai cuisine for a great price. Although it was a long day for all of us, the experience and appreciation of the Thai people and their culture was totally worth it and would not have been possible without Nok as our guide. We definitely would use her again when we return to Bangkok in the future and recommend her to our friends. The driver (Mr. Anon) is a very safe, skillful and assertive driver. We all live in a big city and appreciate how difficult it is to drive in congested traffic conditions especially in Bangkok. Kudos to Mr. Anon.

My wife & I did a private tour of the Damnernsauak floating market and Maeklong train market half day tour with Nok Thai Tours. It’s was a great experience with Nok she was punctual with pick up from our hotel and transfer to both locations was comfortable. It was a great experience to get a locals take on both areas allowing us to fully experience. Nok guided us through both areas with her local touch and knowledge. These areas can be difficult to locate and access by transport so doing the tour was ideal to save time. I’m would highly recommend Nok for any Bangkok tours you may be interested in doing. Thank you Nok 🙏🏽

Once again, we had an absolutely amazing experience with Nok in Bangkok! The tour was incredibly well organized, and we learned so much about this amazing country! Nok is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, making every stop enjoyable and memorable. The tour was perfectly paced, and we always felt well taken care of. If you’re looking for a truly exceptional guide in Bangkok, we can highly recommend Nok!!! It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
