Visitor Reviews
My partner and I were in Hua Hin for a few days, having driven five hours from Jomtien. After checking into our hotel, we went looking for a massage shop and just two doors down we found Lanna Thai Massage and Salon. It’s a small place, but absolutely amazing. We sank into their large, comfortable lounge chairs and got a leg and foot massage that was pure heaven. Halfway through, we looked at each other and said, “None of the massages we’ve had in the past four weeks felt this good.” The staff were lovely, and the owner clearly takes great pride in the space it shows in every detail. We ended up coming back three more times. I had a foot scrub and another foot massage while getting a head and shoulder massage at the same time. My partner went upstairs for a coconut and candle massage the next two nights and couldn’t stop raving about it. It may be small but this place is outstanding, warm, professional, and deeply relaxing. If you’re in Hua Hin, it’s absolutely worth a visit.
An excellent oil massage, just the way I like it.(And no, there was no extras ) I believe my masseuse was named Chung. Her skills were totally professional and extremely consistent. I have seen her many times over the 2 months I stayed in Hua Hin. Im not particularly fond of the Thai massage as I find that stronger than I prefer. Chung's oil massage was the perfect consistent pressure, that was perfect for an after workout massage. The services include a nice foot bath as a prelude, with hot tea after. It's best to get a relaxing massage during the day, prior to the bar across the street cranking the music (which can infringe on relaxation to some extent)
This place have everything you want! From massage to color gel and pedicure & manicure, even body wax. The place very clean and quiet, the crew very friendly and professional. I only did two massages there, but I'm sure the other services are as good. Definitely coming back in my next vacation!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
