Tong Mee House
Compare prices
Tong Mee House is a small, unpretentious guesthouse tucked along Soi Naeb Kehardt in Hua Hin, offering an affordable base for travellers who value character and personal attention over hotel-style formality. The property is owner-operated, with a hands-on approach that sets it apart from larger establishments in the area. One room features a rooftop terrace, adding an appealing option for those who like a bit of outdoor space.
Rooms are compact but thoughtfully equipped, with guests noting comfortable beds, fridges, kettles, and small balconies in some rooms. The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable, shaped largely by the warmth of the staff. The owner, Nina, is frequently mentioned by visitors for her friendly manner and willingness to assist with laundry, taxi arrangements, local recommendations, and morning coffee. The guesthouse draws a mix of longer-stay guests and short-term visitors, reflecting its suitability for extended trips as well as quick stopovers.
The location strikes a practical balance, sitting close enough to Hua Hin's nightlife and amenities to be convenient, yet far enough away that noise is not a concern. For budget-conscious travellers planning a stay of several days or more, it is worth contacting the property directly to arrange services in advance, as the personal, flexible approach here tends to work best when expectations are communicated early. Check-in details and availability are best confirmed ahead of arrival given the small scale of the property.

Reviews from Google
I haven't stayed here but I wish I had. I did see the rooms though and found them lovely, quite small yes but they looked cozy and had all you might want. Nice bed, fridge, kettle, even a small balcony and a proper bathroom. Also Nina is a great host, and readily shared some local knowledge with me even though I couldn't stay at her place this time. Great location too, very central with bus to Ekkamai Bangkok around the corner.
Nina if you haven't met her is lovely bubbly effervescent and makes you a mean cup of coffee in the morning. Modest but very cute accomodations. Highly recommended for a nice chill place.
A fabulous little guest house, very clean rooms, small but reflected by the very good prices. The owner operator is very helpful, will do washing, arrange taxi etc. For the budget traveller a must stay, safe, secure and friendly...or for someone who wants a more earthy localised experience you don't get from larger hotels. Stayed again August 2025, as always, a home from home.
