Tucked away on Pattaya Tai Road, this small Italian restaurant has earned a devoted following among both expats and visitors for its genuinely authentic approach to Italian cooking. The intimate, tastefully decorated space creates an atmosphere that feels closer to a neighbourhood trattoria in Italy than a tourist-oriented restaurant, making it something of a hidden gem worth seeking out.
The menu leans into classic Italian comfort with dishes that have drawn consistent praise from diners. Highlights noted by visitors include a tenderloin cooked to order, shrimp gnocchi served in generous portions, and sides that complement the mains well. The kitchen's commitment to authentic flavours — rich, warm, and carefully prepared — sets it apart from the more generic Italian options found elsewhere in Pattaya. The staff are frequently mentioned for their warmth and professionalism, adding to the overall experience.

At Osteria Sensi in Pattaya it really feels like stepping into Italy. The place is small but very charming, tastefully decorated, and with a cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The staff is friendly, skilled, and always attentive, giving the restaurant a touch of both familiarity and professionalism. The menu is simple, without unnecessary frills, yet well thought out: every dish is made with genuinely Italian ingredients, imported to ensure the true flavor of tradition. It’s like sitting in a classic Italian osteria, where quality, simplicity, and hospitality are what matter most. A place well worth trying if you want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in Pattaya.
Osteria Sendi is hands down the absolute best restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine. The location is quite hidden making this such a gem to find. The chef and staff were very very hospital and professional making the experience exceptional. We will be coming here every time we crave Italian food for sure!
I went there last night. The food was really authentic and amazing. The lady staff was so pretty and energetic. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Pattaya, and I can’t wait to go back!

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
Use Grab for Delivery
The Grab app works for food delivery across Thailand, letting you order from street stalls and restaurants alike. It's invaluable on rainy days or when you want to eat in your hotel.
