Ketsarin Restaurant
Ketsarin Restaurant occupies a seaside spot on Soi Naresdamri in Hua Hin, drawing visitors with its combination of fresh seafood and open ocean views. The waterfront setting gives the dining area a relaxed, breezy atmosphere that suits a long, unhurried meal — particularly appealing on warm evenings when the sea breeze comes in. The restaurant draws a predominantly international crowd, a reflection of its reputation among travellers exploring Hua Hin's dining scene. The menu leans heavily into seafood, with dishes like steamed crab, steamed seabass with mushrooms and ginger, and scallops appearing consistently in visitor accounts. Pineapple rice with seafood is another popular order. Portions are generous and the seafood is widely noted as fresh. Mid-range pricing makes it a reasonable choice for a sit-down seafood meal without the premium of a hotel restaurant. Good to know: It is worth confirming locally before making the trip, especially for dinner. Weekday lunchtimes tend to be quiet — some visitors have had the restaurant almost entirely to themselves — making that a good option for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. The restaurant can get busier in the evenings, particularly with tourist foot traffic along Soi Naresdamri.

Reviews from Google
Great place with amazing food! We’ve been there twice with my husband, and both times we had an excellent meal. The seafood is fresh and deliciously prepared. The seaside atmosphere is refreshing and relaxing, and the staff are very kind and friendly. When we visit Hua Hin again, this place will definitely be a must-visit. Highly recommended!
We visited Ketsarin Restaurant on a beautiful day, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy a meal. The food was wonderful overall—fresh, well prepared, and nicely seasoned. A few of the grilled dishes could have benefited from a bit of sauce to elevate them further, but even without it, the flavors were still satisfying and thoughtfully balanced. This is a solid choice for a pleasant meal in a comfortable setting, especially if you enjoy well-seasoned grilled dishes and a laid-back dining experience.
Great place to sit and enjoy the ocean view. The seafood was delicious. The day (in the evening) I visited this restaurant, I noticed that most of the guests were foreigners. Looks like it is a popular dining location for expats. It is very rare that you see restaurant personal without a friendly smile in Thailand. This is a place you could visit if you want to have good food but experience that kind of a customer service …..without the traditional Thai friendly smile (especially the young lady waitress).

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
