La Terrasse Hua Hin
Perched near Hua Hin's fisherman pier on Soi Naresdamri, La Terrasse is a mostly outdoor dining spot with direct sea views, offering a relaxed setting that sits apart from the town's busier beachfront strip. The menu leans toward seafood and European-influenced dishes, with visitor accounts highlighting shrimp, garlic bread, and imported seafood among the draws. The atmosphere is unhurried, and the open-air setup makes it a comfortable choice for a long lunch or early dinner while watching activity along the waterfront. The experience here is mid-range in price, positioning it as a practical option for travellers who want something beyond street food without committing to a formal dining budget. Service is generally attentive, though reviews suggest consistency can vary depending on how busy the venue is. Food quality receives broadly positive feedback, particularly around freshness and value, though some visitors have noted uneven results with certain dishes — seafood quality in particular appears to be the deciding factor in how meals land. Good to know: La Terrasse opens daily from 11:00 to 22:00, giving flexibility across most travel schedules. The restaurant can be quiet during low season and rainy periods, which some visitors find preferable for a more relaxed meal. Checking the Facebook page before visiting is worthwhile for updates on specials or any changes to service. The location on Soi Naresdamri is walkable from the central pier area, making it easy to combine with an evening stroll along the waterfront.

Visitor Reviews
Stumbled upon this place after learning the pier was closed. Was nervous at first as there weren’t many people and neighboring places were busier. I got the shrimp Spanish style, and some garlic bread. The shrimp were delicious cooked to perfection tender with a great garlic sauce. I’ll be back!
Really great local and imported seafood. Very fresh and good value for the quality with nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly host, attentive staff and sea view. What more could you want?!
It’s a nice mostly outdoor restaurant by the ocean, with a view of the fisherman’s pier. The service was good, and when we visited it wasn’t busy (low season, rainy days). We ordered mostly standard western dishes like baked scallops, clams with herbs, garlic bread, and baked potato—all met expectations. We also tried fideos (similar to paella but made with pasta). Maybe I’m just not used to Mediterranean cuisine, but it felt quite bland to me. Prices are reasonable for a seaside spot.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
