Big C Supercenter South Pattaya
This Big C Supercenter operates as a full-scale hypermarket serving both residents and travellers in South Pattaya, functioning as a reliable one-stop shop for groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood, household goods, and everyday sundries. Visitors frequently draw comparisons to large Western-style supermarkets such as Walmart, noting the spacious, well-organised layout, competitive pricing, and a particularly well-stocked fresh food section covering fish, meat, and produce. The store is clean, air-conditioned, and straightforward to navigate, with efficient checkout staff and a broad product range that suits everything from a quick supply run to bulk shopping. Travellers stocking a holiday apartment or looking to pick up snacks, toiletries, and essentials will find the selection comprehensive, and the reasonable pricing across most categories makes it a practical stop for longer stays in the area. Good to know: the store opens daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, giving visitors flexibility across most travel schedules. Evenings and weekends tend to draw larger crowds, so those who prefer a quieter experience are better served by a morning visit. The South Pattaya location makes it most convenient for travellers staying in that part of the city. This is a practical shopping destination rather than a sightseeing stop, but for self-catering travellers or anyone needing to restock during their trip, it covers most bases efficiently.

Visitor Reviews
Big C Supercenter South Pattaya is a convenient spot for shopping, groceries, and daily essentials. The store is spacious, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Prices are reasonable, and there’s a wide variety of products from local goods to imported items. The staff are generally helpful, and the checkout process is smooth. Great for both locals and travelers looking to stock up during their stay in Pattaya.
Excellent shopping, very similar to Walmart Supercenter. Priced very reasonable across the board. Their produce department would rank among the freshest. Cashiers move quickly and efficiently. One stop shopping, great location, free garage parking with security cameras. Thank you to all of the Big C's
You can find everything here in bulk at lower prices — it’s great for bigger shopping. The only issue was that the air conditioner was broken the day I went, and it was really hot, but they kept apologizing for it.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
