Big C Supercenter South Pattaya
This Big C Supercenter operates as a full-scale hypermarket serving both residents and visitors in South Pattaya, functioning as a practical one-stop destination for groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood, household essentials, and a range of everyday goods. Reviewers frequently compare the experience to a large Western-style supermarket, noting the spacious layout, competitive pricing, and well-stocked fresh food sections including fish and meat counters. The store is clean, air-conditioned, and easy to navigate, with efficient checkout staff and a broad product selection that suits everything from a quick supply run to larger bulk shopping. Visitors looking to stock a holiday apartment or pick up snacks, toiletries, and sundries will find the range comprehensive. A food section and additional services typical of Thai shopping centers round out the offering. Good to know: the store opens daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it accessible across most of the day regardless of travel schedule. Evenings and weekends tend to be busier, so those preferring a quieter experience may find a morning visit more comfortable. The South Pattaya location makes it particularly convenient for travellers staying in that part of the city, and it works best treated as a practical shopping stop rather than a sightseeing destination.

Visitor Reviews
Big C Supercenter South Pattaya is a convenient spot for shopping, groceries, and daily essentials. The store is spacious, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Prices are reasonable, and there’s a wide variety of products from local goods to imported items. The staff are generally helpful, and the checkout process is smooth. Great for both locals and travelers looking to stock up during their stay in Pattaya.
Excellent shopping, very similar to Walmart Supercenter. Priced very reasonable across the board. Their produce department would rank among the freshest. Cashiers move quickly and efficiently. One stop shopping, great location, free garage parking with security cameras. Thank you to all of the Big C's
You can find everything here in bulk at lower prices — it’s great for bigger shopping. The only issue was that the air conditioner was broken the day I went, and it was really hot, but they kept apologizing for it.

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
