Lucus Restaurant
Tucked along Thanon Pattaya Tai next to a Resort and Spa hotel, Lucus Restaurant offers a sophisticated Western dining experience that stands out in Pattaya's competitive food scene. The elegant, clean atmosphere sets the tone for a refined meal, and the kitchen earns consistent praise for dishes including seared scallops, shrimp pasta, grilled grouper, and steak. The four-course Western set menu is a popular choice among visitors looking to explore the full range of what the kitchen offers. Prices are considered reasonable for the quality and presentation delivered. The restaurant operates seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it a reliable option for both leisurely lunches and evening dinners. Parking is straightforward, with shared access alongside the neighbouring Health Land facility, which removes a common hassle for those arriving by car. Good to know: Lucus attracts diners specifically for its set menus and multi-course dining experiences, so those planning a more involved meal may benefit from allowing extra time. Some visitors have flagged occasional inconsistencies with promotional wine servings, so it is worth clarifying the terms of any set meal promotion with staff before ordering to ensure expectations are aligned.

Visitor Reviews
We love this restaurant! The food is amazing, and the prices are actually quite reasonable compared to other high-end spots in Pattaya. Parking is super easy since it’s shared with Health Land. They provide a baby chair and served complimentary Italian bread just like a proper Italian restaurant should. We had pizza, ribeye, steak, mozzarella salad, and salmon carbonara, and loved everything! They also have a huge selection of bakeries and pastries to choose from. The bonus is there’s a little koi pond out front, so you can take your little ones to see the fish while waiting for the food. And the restrooms are spotless!
Enjoyed the 4-Course Western Set at Lucus💚 starting with a refreshing scallop confit, followed by a light and flavorful signature salad, and a perfectly cooked grilled grouper with a delicate balance of flavors. The meal ended with the chef’s special dessert, a sweet finish to the evening.🥰 The restaurant is elegant yet cozy, with attentive service that makes the whole experience even better — a lovely spot for both special occasions and casual fine dining.
Here’s a shorter version: ⸻ Great experience at Lucas Restaurant Pattaya. The seared scallops were tender and beautifully plated, and the shrimp pasta was flavorful with fresh prawns and a nice kick from dried chili. The atmosphere is calm and stylish, with attentive service and thoughtful details like fresh bread and olive oil. Highly recommended for a relaxing, quality meal.

Tips for Visiting Restaurants & Food
Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
