Big C Supercenter Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
This sprawling two-floor Big C Supercenter in Bang Pa-in serves as one of the most comprehensive retail destinations in the Ayutthaya region, functioning as much as a shopping mall as a supermarket. The ground floor houses a food court, restaurants, coffee shops, and multiple bank branches, while the upper floor covers the full retail range — fresh groceries, an extensive meat selection, packaged foods, clothing, electronics, toiletries, and household goods. Familiar international food chains including KFC operate within the complex, making it a convenient stop for a quick meal alongside a shopping run. The atmosphere is air-conditioned and well-organised, with spacious aisles and knowledgeable staff. Travellers will find it useful for stocking up on supplies, sourcing local Thai food products, or picking up everyday necessities. The banking facilities on-site also make it practical for those needing to manage finances while passing through the area. Located along the Asia Highway in Bang Pa-in, the store is most easily reached by private car or local transport from central Ayutthaya. It opens daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering consistent access throughout the week. Morning visits tend to be quieter, particularly on weekdays, which suits those who prefer a more relaxed shopping experience. Note that plastic bag fees may apply, so bringing a reusable bag is a practical consideration.

Visitor Reviews
Big supermarket in town! From a cup of coffee to huge electronic appliances. There are two floors which restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and food court belong to the first floor; and the second floor is for Big C supermarket and Major movie theaters.
I used to come here very often. Just like the old times. This Big C is huge and they have a ton of meat verities. It's always chilled in there and the staff are very knowledgeable. Thank you for a good experience

Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
