UNIQLO Central Ayutthaya
Located within the Central Ayutthaya shopping complex along Asia Road, this UNIQLO outlet brings the Japanese chain's signature Lifewear range to one of Thailand's most historically significant cities. It opened alongside the mall itself and has since become a convenient stop for travellers looking to pick up practical, well-made clothing during their time in the region. The store is considered medium-sized by UNIQLO standards, with a selection that covers the essentials the brand is known for: summer-weight clothing, underwear, and UV-protective pieces well suited to Thailand's climate. Visitors describe the space as clean and easy to navigate, with fitting rooms readily available and staff who are consistently friendly and helpful. The colour range is notably broad, which regulars appreciate, though the product selection is somewhat more limited than larger flagship stores in Bangkok. A practical note for shoppers: if something catches your eye, reviewers suggest picking up two or three pieces on the spot, as popular styles and sizes tend to sell out. The mall location also means parking and public amenities are close at hand, making it a straightforward detour for anyone already exploring the Ayutthaya area. Opening hours are not confirmed online, so it is worth checking directly with the mall before making a special trip.

Visitor Reviews
Uniqlo is a fairly large store. The selection is fairly standard for this chain in Thailand: a good selection of summer clothing, underwear, and sun protection. The fitting rooms are convenient, and the staff is friendly and ready to help with anything you need.
Uniqlo Central Ayutthaya is spacious and has a wide variety of products. It's a pleasure to walk in. There are always new fashions. If you like something, I recommend buying 2-3 pieces because that style won't be available again.
Great place to buy clothes and apparel. If you love colors, there tonnes of color ranges to choose from. Enjoy wearing yours today.
Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
