Visitor Reviews
I’m not usually the type to write a review after my stay, but this experience truly deserves recognition. I work in the hospitality industry myself, and I felt it was important to acknowledge the incredible team at this beautiful property. My opinion is honest and thoughtful — especially because my first night didn’t begin perfectly due to an incident and a miscommunication. However, I want to give full credit to Khun Tun, the Front Office Night Manager, who immediately took charge of the situation. He demonstrated true leadership, handled everything calmly, and resolved the matter with professionalism and care. Because of him, the situation turned into a positive experience. I would also like to recognize the wonderful front office ladies at the port — Khun Ivy, Ohmmy, and another lady whose name I sadly forgot (possibly Natasha). They were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Ivy, especially, was kind, attentive, and took the time to explain details clearly and show us around the resort when we first arrived. From the recreation team, Dome truly stood out. He was very friendly and gave me excellent advice while I was working out at the gym. He went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my time there. Rock also did an amazing job during the sunset kayaking experience, ensuring both my safety and that it was truly unforgettable. And I absolutely cannot forget Sunny — she was the highlight of my stay. She was incredibly kind and sweet, constantly checking in to see if I needed anything and genuinely making my days brighter. Thank you as well to Nilson for chatting with me and making sure my stay was going well. The property itself is already beautiful, but what truly makes this place special is the people. Everyone I interacted with — from the port staff to the boat driver and many others whose names I didn’t get — treated me like family. That feeling means everything and is what makes this place so memorable and attractive. I’m already thinking about coming back again. Thank you to everyone for making this stay such a special experience. I truly and greatly appreciate it. I will be back — I promise ❤️❤️❤️
We chose The Naka Island for our honeymoon as a finish to our longer Thailand trip and we couldn't choose a better place. Check-in: Simple check-in process at the marina. A quick speedboat transfer and a small buggy ride, you are in your room. We had a small issue with our room but it is resolved immediately. Food: Really good breakfast included. Then there are different restaurants at the hotel which you can dine in. You can order to any place at the hotel including your room without extra charges. We enjoyed the food. For Thai dishes, expect to spend around 500THB and 200 THB for local beers. If it is too expensive for you there is a local village and you can order food from there too. Activities: This was the most special part for us. We attended many free activities. Because we like sound therapy a lot, they introduced us one of their team members who is very spiritual and she performed a 1 hour sound healing for me and my wife as a surprise. We had many more surprises. I highly recommend you attend the classes so that you can get to know the staff and they will do their best to make you happy. Hotel&Staff Fun fact- this hotel area used to be a Six Senses hotel. This should let you know how special the place is. I've read some comments about wear and tear but we learned that the hotel was renovated in December 2025 so it was all good for us. Every single person you encounter tries to make you happy. Just let them know what you want and they do it. Lastly I want to specifically thank to Melanie, Melon, Han, Coral and more that personally ensured that villa 79 had the best time ever. Thanks!
Our stay at Naka Island Luxury Resort was truly unforgettable. From arrival to departure, everything felt seamless, relaxing, and exclusive. The location is simply perfect. The island is only about 45 minutes from the airport, yet it feels like a completely hidden paradise far away from everything. The private speedboat transfer included with the stay runs every half hour, and the ride to the mainland takes just five minutes. It is incredibly convenient while still preserving that magical island feeling. The private villas are absolutely stunning. Spacious, beautifully designed, and with a private pool that makes the entire experience feel indulgent and peaceful. Waking up here feels like living in a dream. Breakfast deserves a special mention. Without exaggeration, it was the best breakfast we have ever had. The selection, the quality, the setting, everything was exceptional. And yes, sparkling wine with refills at breakfast made it even more memorable. What impressed us greatly was how seriously the resort takes guest comfort. Mosquito control is clearly a priority. The island is sprayed every evening, yet we did not notice it at all. The rooms are well equipped with repellent and mosquito coils, and we experienced virtually no mosquitoes during our stay. But what truly made this place special was the people. Everyone we met was incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The level of hospitality was outstanding. This resort is not just beautiful. It is a true hidden gem.
Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
