The Hideaway Village
Tucked away in the lush mountains just seven to thirteen minutes from Pai town centre, The Hideaway Village is a private villa-style retreat that draws travellers seeking peace, natural surroundings, and a genuine sense of home. Hosted by Michael and Wainam, the property is known for its warm, personal hospitality that sets it apart from more conventional resort stays. The setting, nestled in the hills away from the main road, offers a quiet atmosphere complemented by the sounds of the surrounding nature in the evenings. The property suits a range of group sizes and travel styles particularly well. Visitors have used it for multi-family holidays, birthday celebrations, and extended solo stays, with groups of up to eleven people finding it well-suited to communal use. The combination of a tranquil hillside location, attentive hosts, and villa-style accommodation makes it a practical choice for those wanting more space and privacy than a standard hotel room provides. Reception is open daily, with hours running from 09:00 to 19:00 on most days and slightly shorter on Sundays, closing at 17:00. Travellers planning late arrivals should coordinate with the property in advance. Those considering a longer stay will find the environment lends itself well to it, as several guests have extended their time there beyond their original plans. Booking directly through the official website is recommended to confirm availability and arrange any specific requirements ahead of arrival.

Visitor Reviews
Our group of 11 stayed at The Hideaway Village for 6 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was the most perfect experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this place enough! • Location: The location is absolutely ideal. It’s nestled in a quiet, peaceful area which we loved, but it was just a quick and easy ride into the main town of Pai. It was also conveniently located near many other highlights we wanted to see. It truly offers the best of both worlds. • Accommodations & Amenities: The villas are simply stunning! Every detail is beautiful and the entire property is so well-maintained. We spent so much time enjoying the gorgeous pool. We were hoping to use the fire pit, but the rain had other plans – it still looked like a wonderful spot to gather! • Host & Communication: Michael was a phenomenal host. His communication in the months leading up to our stay was excellent and incredibly helpful, which made planning for a large group completely stress-free. We appreciated it so much. • Private Chef: I have to give a special shout-out to the chef, JC! He was absolutely incredible. Every single meal he prepared for us was delicious and beautifully presented. It was such a treat and a definite highlight of our stay. If you are looking for a special place to stay in Pai, especially for a group, look no further. The Hideaway Village exceeded all of our expectations and made my birthday celebration unforgettable.

The property is a stunning paradise in Pai, Thailand. Each room is spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a serene retreat suitable for both families and singles. The highlight of Hideaway Pai is undoubtedly the breathtaking view from the pool. Surrounded by lush greenery and panoramic vistas, it's a perfect spot for relaxation and socializing. This stunning view added a magical touch to our stay, especially during the delightful poolside party hosted by our gracious hosts. Michael and Waimun's exceptional hospitality ensured comfort for our diverse group, seamlessly arranging transportation and catering to our every need. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests of all ages are evident in every aspect of this place. Staying here was more than just lodging; it was an enriching experience that added immensely to our visit to Pai. Hideaway Pai is highly recommended, especially for groups with a mix of families and singles. It's not just a place to stay; it's a place to make wonderful memories. Thank you, Michael and Waimun, for making our trip unforgettable and for sharing the stunning beauty of your property with us!
I’m so grateful I found this secret gem in the lush mountains of Pai. Michael and Wainam have created a truly magical environment that feels like home the moment you arrive. I stayed for two weeks and loved every part of it — the peaceful grounds, the nourishing food, and the warm, inviting energy. My room was cozy and thoughtfully designed, with special touches everywhere. JC took incredible care of me with the most delicious homemade cooking ... healthy, comforting, and made with so much love. It was exactly what my body needed to ground and heal. Michael shared his beautiful vision for the space, and I even got to visit their other location, The Hideaway Farm, and learn more about Pai through their eyes. They’ve created something unique, warm, and full of heart. If you have a chance to visit, stay here and experience the relaxed, nurturing vibe they’ve cultivated. The sunsets and star-lit nights alone are beyond words. I can’t thank them enough for hosting me.
