Compare prices
Tucked away in the scenic Si Sawat district of Kanchanaburi, this lakeside resort has earned a devoted following for its serene setting and exceptional attention to both guests and their four-legged companions. Villas are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with some featuring private pools, and the surrounding lake views add a genuine sense of escape from the everyday. Loaner kayaks are available for guests who want to get out on the water. What consistently sets AVA apart, according to repeat visitors, is the warmth and attentiveness of its staff. Many guests have returned three or four times, and it is particularly celebrated as one of Kanchanaburi's standout pet-friendly accommodations. Rooms and outdoor spaces are thoughtfully arranged with pets in mind, making it a practical and comfortable choice for travellers who prefer not to leave their animals behind. Reservation enquiries and updates are handled through the resort's Facebook page. Reception hours run daily from 08:00 to 20:00, so travellers planning late arrivals should arrange this in advance. The location in Tambon Tha Kradan places it away from the main Kanchanaburi town, so having private transport or arranging transfers is advisable for exploring the wider region.

Visitor Reviews
Best pet-friendly place I’ve visited in Thailand so far! This is my fourth time here and I never get bored of this place. The staff always give off the warmest, most welcoming vibes. This time I stayed in Villa 10 for my girlfriend’s anniversary + birthday trip (3 nights). The view is beyond — absolutely stunning. The bed, the pillows, and all the linens give off absolutely 5-star vibes! The food? Absolutely delicious — every single dish. And the activities are unbeatable, from Hobie Cat sailing to pedal-drive paddling. Nothing else compares! Can’t wait to plan my next trip back here already!
We just got back from our fourth time at this hotel. Our first few times was when it was under a different name. The name had been changed (a while ago, I was told) but all the good things that kept us coming back were still there and more. The service was still very excellent. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Our family dog—and we—had very good times on the boat and paddle boards on the lake. The shabu-shabu dinners we had on both days were delicious. We enjoyed the peaceful nights and activity-filled days. Dog lovers and dogs will not be disappointed.
This is literally one of the best pet friendly hotel ive ever stayed at in my life! everything is attention to detail and tailormade just for your pets. The Staff are very welcome and always listening of ways to improve. The location is abit far so better to eat inside the hotel (which the foods are amazing!) only add is if they could add some more western dishes, but apart from that the foods are amazing

Tips for Visiting Hotels & Resorts
Book Shoulder Season
May–June and September–October offer dramatic discounts (30–50% off peak rates) with fewer crowds. Weather is mixed but rarely a washout — afternoon showers clear quickly.
Compare OTAs and Direct Rates
Always check the hotel's own website after finding a rate on Agoda or Booking.com. Many Thai properties offer a best-rate guarantee or throw in perks like free breakfast when you book direct.
Pool Villa Doesn't Mean Expensive
Private pool villas in Krabi, Hua Hin, and Chiang Mai start around 2,500–4,000 THB/night — a fraction of Bali or Maldives prices. Search specifically for 'pool villa' to surface hidden gems.
