VGA VACATION
Operating from its own dedicated pier in Ratsada, Phuket, VGA Vacation specialises in scuba diving instruction and guided island tours, with visitor experiences centred on destinations including Racha Island, Khai Islands, and the famous James Bond Island. The operation functions as both a tour agency and a water sports activity provider, catering to first-time divers and experienced snorkellers alike, with multilingual guides on staff — reviewers have specifically noted English and Cantonese-speaking guides among the team. The atmosphere is hands-on and activity-focused, with an emphasis on small group sizes that allow for a more personal experience on the water. Instructors and guides are consistently described by visitors as professional, safety-conscious, and knowledgeable about local dive sites and coastal attractions. Full-day island tours and scuba diving courses appear to be the standout offerings, with dive sites praised for clear water and strong marine visibility. Good to know: VGA Vacation operates seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, accommodating early departures for full-day tours. Scuba diving excursions to Racha Island typically require an early start to make the most of daylight and sea conditions. Booking in advance is advisable during the high season between November and February, when weather is most reliable and demand for tours increases significantly. The pier location provides direct water access, so no additional transfers are needed once at the site.

Visitor Reviews
I really had the best experience in my hole life with VGA Vacation! I went scuba diving in Racha with it was just mind blowing. My instructor Ohn was the best I could hope for: friendly, very professional, always following me and giving me the best advice to enjoy my experience. We even saw a turtle and I felt so grateful and lucky. This experience is a MUST if you come to Phuket, it will change your life completely. There’s one thing that I am sure of: from this day on, I will train to become a professional diver!
Amazing scuba diving experience in Phuket from start to finish. The instructors were friendly, professional, and made everyone feel safe and confident. The dive sites were stunning with clear water, colorful coral, and plenty of marine life. All equipment was in great condition and the trip was very well organized. The crew’s passion and knowledge really stood out. Highly recommended and easily one of the best experiences in Phuket!
It was a really wonderful experience with our leader Noah! Thank you so much for sending 海盜 (who is a real nice guy speaking Cantonese) with us! We feel so honor to them as our guide. The weather is not that gd, but we still hv a very joyful moment as a whole, with all the drinks, snacks and fresh fruit on the boat! I would highly recommend VGA vacation as your choice!

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
