Chonlamakwithi Bridge

This is a walk, not an attraction, and that's the point. The bridge crosses the water in Bang Pla Soi, north of Pattaya's beach strip, and what you get is height, open sky and a long view over water and greenery. If you want something to do, it won't satisfy you. If you want twenty quiet minutes with a camera and no one selling you anything, it does the job.

I'd treat it as one stop in a Chon Buri day rather than a destination in itself. Late afternoon is when it earns its keep, when the light softens and the heat drops off enough to make standing around pleasant. Photographers get the most out of it. Anyone traveling with restless kids will be back in the car in ten minutes.
