Why go, and how to do it well
Small groups are the reason to book here. Koh Tao has more dive schools than you can count, and the difference between a good week and a wasted one usually comes down to how many people your instructor is watching at once. This one runs PADI courses and fun dives with numbers low enough that you get actual attention, which matters enormously if you're nervous in the water or doing your open water from scratch.
Beginners are well served, but so are certified divers just after a couple of tanks. The sites around the island deliver coral, swim-throughs, turtles and reef sharks, and the team knows which ones suit which conditions. Multilingual staff, equipment that's kept in decent shape, and instructors who won't rush you through skills you haven't nailed. If you want a party-first dive school, this isn't quite that, and I'd say that's a point in its favor.
