Koh Mak Divers runs the island's snorkeling and diving trips to the reefs around Koh Rang, in Mu Ko Chang National Park, about 20 minutes by boat from Ao Nid pier. The half-day snorkeling trip is the one most visitors take, at about ฿1,200 a person with the park fee, gear and lunch included, and there are dive trips and try dives for more.
I'd book the snorkeling trip on a calm morning in the dry season, from November to April, when the water is clearest, and do it early in the stay in case the sea cancels a day.
