House of KOON
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Hua Hin near a reservoir, House of KOON is a thoughtfully designed wellness centre that blends recovery therapies, movement classes, and a relaxed café atmosphere into a single, cohesive space. The organic décor and calm surroundings create a genuinely peaceful environment that feels distinct from more commercial wellness offerings in the area. Visitors can expect a range of experiences, including ice baths, infrared sauna sessions, and instructor-led movement classes such as dance aerobics. Staff are noted for being knowledgeable and attentive — guiding guests through breathing techniques and recovery protocols during contrast therapy sessions. The space also functions as a café, serving food and offering a comfortable spot to work or unwind, making it accessible even to those who wander in without a wellness agenda. Multiple reviewers have described it as a hidden gem worth seeking out. As opening hours are not publicly listed, it is advisable to reach out or book in advance before visiting, particularly for guided classes or therapies that may require a reservation. Given the intimate scale of the venue and the personalised attention staff provide, arriving with a specific activity in mind — rather than as a walk-in — is likely to make for the most rewarding visit.

I’ve been to a few wellness places, but this one really stands out. Everything is so thoughtfully managed and beautifully designed — from the open, organic décor to the serene vibe right by the reservoir. The moment you walk in, you instantly feel calm and relaxed. They offer so many experiences like sauna, ice bath, sound bath, and creative activities like painting and drawing. There’s also a lovely little shop with their own branded products, crystals, aroma oils, smoothies, and more — everything is designed with so much attention to detail, which I really appreciate as a designer. I tried the sound bath session today for 600 baht and it was incredible. The instructor was so kind and gentle, and the whole experience was deeply calming and refreshing. Highly recommend this place if you want to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautifully curated wellness experience!
Great relaxing vibes and friendly staff! I enjoyed the ice bath and infrared sauna. Scott was extremely knowledgeable guiding me through the experience on proper breathing along with the recovery and blood stimulation benefits the 0 degrees ice bath provides. I definitely felt less tension in my joints after and had a great nights sleep afterwards! The sunset experience is also beautiful if you sit overlooking the lake with an ice cold beer in your hand👌🌅 A highly recommended experience for everyone and also the coffee is great 👍 😊
That was a pleasant surprise -- I stumbled upon House of Koon when looking for somewhere to grab a bit to eat and catch up on emails. I was there for 3 hours!!! I enjoyed tasty scrambled eggs and avocado on sourdough, a very light and refreshing Cha Manao Yen and the best of all - a 20 minute Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy session. This was my first time trying Vibroacoustic and it was really relaxing and I felt a lot clearer in my mind when I left. I'll be back next week for sure

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
