The Secret Garden Spa at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui
Tucked into the hillside of the Four Seasons Resort on Koh Samui's northeastern coast, the Secret Garden Spa offers a distinctly different experience from the island's typical wellness offerings. Five private treatment rooms are built directly into the natural terrain, connected by winding walking paths that begin the relaxation process before treatments even start. Outdoor baths, elevated sea views, and a setting that feels genuinely secluded make this one of the more architecturally distinctive spa experiences on the island. Guests can expect a full range of massage and body treatments delivered by professional therapists, with visitors specifically praising the quality of massage and scrub combinations. The spa sits within the broader Four Seasons resort property, which means the facilities are immaculately maintained and the service standard is consistently high. The journey through the garden to reach each treatment room is considered part of the experience itself, not merely a path to it. The spa is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00, making late-morning or early-afternoon bookings a practical choice for those who want to pair a treatment with time at the resort afterward. As this is a luxury hotel spa, pricing reflects the Four Seasons standard, so visitors should check the website for current treatment menus and rates before visiting. Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly during peak season between December and March when demand across the island is highest.

Visitor Reviews
Wow. Wow. Wow. Spent the day here on my birthday and couldn’t be happier the views were incredible and the spa experience was the best massage and scrub we had in about 3 weeks of massages daily in Thailand. The homemade coconut jasmine scrub is to die for. I asked for the recipe. Wow thank you for making my birthday so special. The coconut bath after is a delight with a gorgeous view!
5 hidden private rooms in the natural hill makes this place unique from others. Walking path initially creates some relaxation , professional massages & outdoor bath elevate the place to be upscale with high price. No desserts or small bites after massage.
Paradise hidden in the garden, the best + most professional Spa experience I’ve had.

Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.

Sansabai Massage 2

Health Land Spa & Massage (Asoke)
Health Land is Bangkok's great value institution, and the Asoke branch is its flagship — a colonial-style mansion where a two-hour traditional Thai massage costs less than a hotel cocktail and is executed with production-line consistency that somehow never feels rushed.

Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi
