The thing that makes this place useful is the clock. Ten in the morning until midnight, seven days a week, no day off. On an island where kitchens close when they feel like it and boat schedules wreck your appetite timing, that matters more than any menu description I could give you.
It runs as a restaurant and a cafe, so you can turn up for a coffee and something small in the late morning, or come back at nine at night after a day on the water and eat properly. Mid-range prices, which on Phi Phi means you're paying island rates but not resort rates. The consistency is what people keep coming back for, across a long day of service with very different crowds walking through.
I'd go earlier than you think in high season. November to April the island fills up and every decent kitchen feels it. Late lunch, around three, is my pick if you want a table without waiting.
