glaze dining by MITI ร้านอาหารเกลซ
Tucked away in the Muang Chum area of Tha Muang District, this contemporary Western restaurant has quietly built a devoted following among diners seeking something beyond the province's typical offerings. Reviewers consistently describe it as a hidden gem, praising the kitchen's ability to put a unique twist on classic flavors while maintaining balance and freshness in every dish. The food is matched by an equal standard of presentation, with cocktails and plates that are as visually striking as they are satisfying to eat. The atmosphere strikes a balance between cozy and refined, making it equally suited to a relaxed family meal or a more indulgent occasion. Staff are noted for being genuinely welcoming and attentive, contributing to an overall experience that several visitors describe as exceeding expectations. For travellers who have been living on a tight budget or roadside meals, this restaurant makes a compelling case for a proper sit-down splurge. The restaurant operates Thursday through Monday from 11:00 to 20:00, and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so it is worth checking the schedule before making the trip. As the location sits outside central Kanchanaburi in a residential district, personal transport or an arranged ride is strongly recommended. Arriving closer to the lunch hour is advisable for those who prefer a quieter table.

Visitor Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem, and I must say—it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a unique twist on classic flavors that made every bite memorable. Each dish was beautifully presented and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was another highlight. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and tastefully decorated, offering a sense of calm and comfort. What I loved most was the privacy; the layout of the restaurant allows you to truly relax and enjoy your meal without feeling crowded or rushed. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner or a quiet place to unwind with friends, this restaurant is a perfect choice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
The location, the view, the vibe, the service, the food, everything was more than perfect. We came to pamper ourselves after five months of traveling on a low budget and there is no doubt that this was the best restaurant to do it at. The employees were charming and explained the menu and each of the dishes to us, gave recommendations and were kind and pleasant. I recommend to anyone who comes to Kanchanaburi to take one free evening and come to this amazing restaurant. We liked the shrimp salad with passion fruit sauce and the carbonara the most.
Every dish was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and had excellent service mind. Highly recommended

Learn the Spice Scale
Say 'mai pet' for no spice, 'pet nit noi' for a little spice, or 'pet mak' if you want it Thai-hot. Most cooks will default to a toned-down version for foreigners unless you specify otherwise.
Follow the Crowds
The busiest street stalls are almost always the best — high turnover means fresh ingredients and a recipe that locals vouch for. An empty restaurant at dinner time is a red flag.
Ice Is Safe
Factory-made tube or cylinder ice (used in virtually all restaurants and stalls) is made from purified water and is safe to consume. You don't need to skip the iced Thai tea.
