About Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort
Sivalai sits on a narrow peninsula of white sand at the northeast tip of Koh Mook, close to the pier and the village, with a beach on both sides. The rooms run from Deluxe villas to Premier beachfront villas, family villas and a suite villa, with two swimming pools, a spa and a seafront restaurant and bar serving seafood, Thai and international food.
The beach in front, often called Sivalai or Pearl Beach, has soft white sand and shallow water at low tide that suits children, and non-guests can eat at the restaurant, which is pricier than the village. Reviewers praise the location, the breakfast and the staff, and a few mention weak showers. It's the island's best-known resort, so book early for December to February.
