About Mook Ing Lay
Mook Ing Lay is a small garden resort of 16 bungalows beside the harbor on Koh Mook's east coast, a minute's walk from the jetty, so there's no long haul with luggage. The bungalows have air conditioning, and its own site lists garden-view rooms from about ฿1,500 a night up to partial sea-view rooms at about ฿2,400.
Reviewers like the clean rooms, the welcome fruit and daily water, and owners who help with laundry and rent scooters for about ฿200 a day. Beds are on the firm side, and a school next door can be noisy in the morning. It's a practical base in the village, close to the restaurants, Sivalai Beach and the boats.
