Come here to walk, not to swim. This stretch inside Sam Roi Yot National Park can be almost deserted on a weekday, which is the whole appeal, but the water has let people down badly at times. Reviews mention plastic along the sand and murky, uninviting sea, particularly around the end of the monsoon. If your heart is set on a proper swim, I'd plan for something else and treat a clean sea here as a bonus.
Get past that and it's a lovely, unhurried spot. Turn left from the entrance for toilets, a restaurant, picnic tables and the campground. Turn right and you get empty sand, palm trees and cows. Monkeys wander through. There's shade, bungalows for rent, and space to sit out a whole day doing very little. Campers say the toilets are kept clean and the staff are friendly. Bring mosquito repellent if you're staying past dusk.

Very pretty beach, and very quiet. Note that the entry fee to this beach is included in the 200 thb entrance fee for all of Sam Roi Yot National Park. Many shady places to rest, with beautiful scenery. There are nice looking bungalows for rent, or you can camp in a tent. There is a restaurant on site. Toilets are very clean. Although I only spent a few hours here, it seemed to me like a very peaceful place to spend all day, or even stay for a few days. Be advised that no alcohol is allowed in the national park.
Great beach to walk, a few monkeys ambling around! Friendly staff and restaurant. National Park tourist, secure and clean. Bring mosquitoe repellent if camping! Relaxing! 👍
We came here hoping the sea would be clean enough for a swim. After paying 200B entry per person, we found a beach full of waste and the see looking like an open sewer. You wouldn't want to wade in it in gumboots. I realise it is the end of the monsoon season, but hey, clean up the mess and stop advertising and charging for it until your done.
