Crystal Dive is the Mae Haad institution of Koh Tao diving — a PADI five-star Career Development Centre a short walk from the arrival pier, with training pools on site, a beachfront restaurant, and a program that runs from first bubbles to instructor exams. It pairs the polish of a big school with a long-standing environmental streak: reef-conservation activities, eco days and marine-life education fold into the course calendar, and the shop has collected industry awards for both sides of that ledger over many years. The Mae Haad base has practical advantages: step off the ferry and start the same afternoon, dive boats loading beside the pier, and a base that's central without Sairee's late-night volume. Courses, fun-diving trips to the island's circuit of sites, and pro-level training all run daily. Good to know: course-and-accommodation packages with nearby rooms are the standard booking; the pool-first teaching progression suits nervous beginners particularly well.
