Khun Si Waterfall
Tucked away in the inland area of Koh Samui near Wat Thale, this waterfall offers a genuine natural escape from the island's busier coastal strips. Visitors are rewarded with at least three sets of cascading falls surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, along with deep swimming holes where the cool water provides welcome relief from the heat. Entry is free, and the site draws a noticeably quieter, more nature-focused crowd than the island's commercial tourist zones. The hike to the falls is short and manageable — roughly ten minutes on a relatively easy trail — making it accessible for most fitness levels. A small restaurant on site adds a relaxed, charming touch for those wanting to linger after the walk. The overall atmosphere leans peaceful and unhurried, with plenty of scenery to take in along the way. The waterfall is open daily from 06:00 to 18:00, with early morning visits offering fewer crowds. Getting there requires navigating a bumpy, steep road with cracked and uneven surfaces, so a vehicle with good clearance is advisable and cautious driving is essential. Visitors have noted that searching for Mr. Dee Chilling Hill Bar on Google Maps serves as a useful navigation landmark for parking. Water-friendly footwear with grip is strongly recommended, as the terrain can become slippery. Unleashed dogs have been reported near farms along some approach roads, so staying aware of surroundings on the way in is worthwhile.

So pretty, completely free to see the waterfalls, the walk down is super easy, there’s deep swimming holes to cool down. The restaurant there is super cute too. The road there is quite bumpy, so careful if you’re not confident riding a motorbike, but still very doable.
Easy hike, free parking, plenty to see. At least three sets of falls.
