The Little Amazon is the name visitors give to Khlong Sang Ne, a narrow canal near Takua Pa, north of Khao Lak, where the water runs under the roots and branches of old banyan trees and mangroves. A local guide does the paddling in an inflatable kayak with room for two passengers, and the trip is about an hour, slow and quiet, with the forest closing in overhead.

I'd treat it as an add-on to a day heading north, toward Takua Pa or the Ban Nam Khem memorial park, rather than a trip on its own.
