Zipline Adventure
Set alongside the scenic Huay Tung Tao Reservoir in Mae Rim, this zipline operation offers a straightforward and well-run outdoor activity for travellers looking to add some excitement to their Chiang Mai itinerary. The setting combines open water views with natural surroundings, making the experience feel distinctly different from jungle-based ziplines found elsewhere in the region. With multiple line options available, visitors can choose the level of ride that suits them, though regulars tend to recommend the longest option for the most rewarding run. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with instructors noted for being friendly, funny, and professionally trained. Packages can include fresh fruit and snacks after the ride, and photography is incorporated into at least some offerings. Pricing is accessible, with certain packages available from around 350 baht covering the zipline and a photo shoot. The activity suits a wide age range and works well for families, groups, and solo travellers alike. Good to know: the venue is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, giving flexibility for either a morning or afternoon visit. Walkins appear to be welcome, as at least one visitor joined spontaneously while passing by. Insect repellent is worth bringing, particularly during warmer and wetter months. Check the Facebook page before visiting for current pricing, package details, and any operational updates, as this information is not listed on third-party platforms.

Visitor Reviews
These guys absolutely made my day! I was running around the lake and noticed the zipline. When I passed by their office, I asked if it was possible to do just one ride over the lake and they said yes! It cost 350 THB (two directions). Everything was super quick and easy: they geared me up and off we went. Such an amazing experience! One of the guys was taking photos with a proper camera, while another took photos and videos with my phone. At the end, they even gave me a framed printed photo, and sent all the other pictures to my email. They also offer water, tea, and coffee, which was perfect after my run 😁 Highly recommended!
Highly recommend this place. Great for all ages! Especially adults and big kids. Very welcoming atmosphere. The price ranges with multiple zipline options, I do suggest the longest for the most fun. Health and safety is 10/10 here and safety is first priority, fun is second :) You wont be disappointed! Visited this multiple times with friends and family. Good fitness required but dont doubt yourself! TOMMY & WOODY will make your day! Show them and everyone some love and respect. :)
A memorable experience! Everything is super safe and lads are well trained. My plan also included fresh fruit and snacks afterwards which was a nice touch

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
