The 10 Best Beaches in Hua Hin, Ranked

Best for convenience. The 7 km town beach from the fishing pier to Khao Takiab, shallow and walkable, with horse rides, chairs and the whole town behind it. It has its own section-by-section page.

Best for a view and seafood. The south end of the town beach under the hill with the temple and standing Buddha, with fishing boats, seafood restaurants and the hill's monkeys, so keep your bags closed.

Best for swimming. A small cove below Khao Tao hill about 16 km south of town, with the clearest, calmest water near Hua Hin. There's no public transport, so come by car, scooter or Grab.

Best for shade and families. Pine trees run down to the sand about 10 km south of town, the water is calm, and on weekends the picnic crowd is mostly Thai families.

Best for a quiet walk. A long, local stretch just north of Sai Noi under Khao Tao hill and its cave temple, with far fewer people than the town beach.

Best for space. Pranburi's long beach near Pak Nam Pran, about 20 km south of town, with resorts spread far apart and plenty of empty sand.
