Why go, and how to do it well
This is where Buriram goes to buy things. Part of the Central retail group, it's the sort of large-format, air-conditioned mall that most of the province doesn't have, sitting on the Buriram–Nang Rong road in Tambon Isan. Clothing, household bits, a meal indoors where it's cool. Nobody's coming to Buriram for a shopping center, and I wouldn't build a day around it, but if you're staying in town and need socks, a phone charger or an hour out of the heat, it does the job without any fuss.
The crowd is local rather than touristy, which I'd count in its favor. Weekday mornings are quiet. Late afternoon and evening it fills up with families and people finishing work, so if you want to get in and out quickly, go early. It's also a sensible fallback on a wet afternoon or during a match weekend when the town is busy and you want somewhere predictable to eat.
