Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park

Spread across 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand, Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park is a protected archipelago of limestone peaks, dense jungle, and sheltered turquoise waters accessible by day tour from Koh Samui. The park is celebrated for its layered shades of green and blue, visible both from the water and from elevated hilltop viewpoints that reward those willing to make the climb. Wearing comfortable footwear suitable for uneven trails is recommended, and visitors should bring sun protection for the boat journey and open water sections.
