Ton Chong Fa is the most popular waterfall in Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park, with five tiers and a main fall of about 10 m dropping into a pool you can swim in. It's inland from Bang Niang, about 6 km off Highway 4 and 12 km from the park's visitor center, and the walk from the parking lot through the forest takes about 30 minutes.
Come in the morning, before the heat, and at the end of the rainy season if you can. October and November have the most water, and by the end of the dry season the falls are much thinner. Wear shoes with grip, because the trail and rocks are slippery when wet.
