Chiang Rai Bicycle Tour เชียงรายไบซิเคิลทัวร์
Chiang Rai Bicycle Tour offers guided cycling experiences through the rural landscapes and cultural landmarks surrounding Chiang Rai, taking riders well beyond the standard tourist circuit. Tours range from half-day outings to full-day adventures, with routes that include highlights such as the White Temple, local tea plantations, and the Golden Triangle. The focus is on slower, more immersive travel — the kind that reveals village life, working farms, and scenic countryside that larger group tours typically bypass entirely. The operation runs professional-grade Trek mountain bikes, equipped with reliable suspension and smooth gear shifting, and saddles have been upgraded for added comfort on longer rides. Guides are consistently praised for their knowledge, attentiveness, and warm approach, and full-day tours include food as part of the experience. The combination of well-maintained equipment and personally guided routes makes this suitable for travellers who want an active day out without needing to be serious cyclists. Tours run seven days a week from 07:00 to 18:00, giving visitors flexibility when planning their itinerary. Checking the official website at chiangraibicycletour.com is recommended for current tour options, pricing, and availability, as booking ahead is advisable, particularly during peak travel seasons. Comfortable, breathable clothing and closed-toe shoes are practical choices for the ride.

Visitor Reviews
We did two day tours with this company & loved them. We did the Chiang Rai countryside White Temple & Tea plantation tour. The following day we did the golden triangle tour. We had good Trek mountain bikes to ride & the cycling was mainly on small back roads with very little traffic. It was so peaceful & we loved learning about the agriculture. Amon was happy to stop & let us look closely at the rubber trees & take photos of the water buffalos. Both days passed very quickly. The snack breaks spoiled us with fresh fruits & local treats. Lunches were excellent. I highly recommend these very professional bike tours.
Thank you for an incredible day! This bike tour was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Rai. We saw so much of the surrounding countryside that typical tourist tours simply miss. Cycling through the villages and on local roads was a unique experience. We visited a local market, the White Temple, a tea plantation, and the Big Buddha. Amon and his family were amazing hosts. If you want to see a different, more authentic side of Chiang Rai, this is the perfect way to do it. Highly recommended!
Absolutely great day today - the bikes are professional quality Trekk mountain bikes with super easy shifting and great suspension for a smooth ride. The owner and our guide, Bee, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, polite and fun. When I’m back in Chiang Rai, I will do this again and I would also recommend it to friends and family!

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours
Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
