This place handles both ends of it, and the food leans fresh and health-minded, a mix of Western plates and Thai-inspired ones.
The setting is the other half of the appeal. It's a garden, shaded and unhurried, which puts it in a different world from the beachfront spots where you eat with a scooter engine at your elbow. Mid-range prices, so not the cheapest plate on the island, but nowhere near resort silly either. My advice is to treat it as a sit-down meal rather than a quick refuel, because you'll want the extra twenty minutes under the trees.
It's well liked, and popular places on small islands fill up. Peak breakfast and lunch can mean waiting for a table, so go slightly early or slightly late.
