Koh Bulon Leh

Koh Bulon Leh is the Andaman's time capsule — a tiny island off Satun province where the main 'road' is a sandy footpath, there are no cars and no ATMs, and the electricity still runs on island time. School Beach, the main strip on the east coast, is a long run of soft white sand with clear, calm water and a coral reef within swimming distance. A handful of family-run resorts and rustic bungalows make up the entire accommodation scene, and evenings are candlelit dinners and early nights rather than beach bars. Speedboats call en route between Pak Bara pier and Koh Lipe in high season (November to April); the island largely closes for monsoon.
