Monsoon Gym & Fight Club

Monsoon Gym & Fight Club is Koh Tao's Muay Thai institution, in the middle of Sairee within walking distance of the beach, the dive schools and most of the island's accommodation. Its niche is unique in Thailand. Koh Tao is the world's budget scuba capital, and Monsoon is set up for exactly the trip people actually take here — Muay Thai session in the morning, dive in the afternoon, repeat. The gym runs leveled group classes with Thai trainers, offers privates, and stages its own fight nights at the on-site ring, where students and visiting fighters share cards in front of a beach-town crowd.

Training follows the standard island-camp pattern — morning and late-afternoon sessions, six days a week — with single walk-ins as normal as monthly packages. The fight nights are worth an evening even if you never wrap your hands, with a compact venue, real bouts, and half of Sairee in attendance.
