Jungle Adventure Park
Set in Tambon Khun Khong in the Hang Dong area south of Chiang Mai, this outdoor activity park is geared primarily toward families with children. The park bundles multiple activities into a single entry package — reportedly around 10 activities for 999 Baht — and includes facilities such as go-karts, a coaster, a swimming pool, and additional amusements suited to younger visitors. An on-site coffee bar and restaurant mean families can spend a full day without needing to leave. There is also an attached resort offering pool villas for those who want to stay overnight, though visitor reviews suggest the accommodation pricing may not always match expectations. The atmosphere is lively and activity-driven rather than nature-immersive, despite the jungle-adjacent setting. It tends to draw local families and groups, particularly during school holidays and long weekends. The park opens daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, making scheduling straightforward. Good to know: Visitors should confirm which activities are operational before arriving, as some — including the go-karts — have been reported as closed on certain visits. The location is not easily reached by ride-hailing apps, so arranging private transport or a rental vehicle in advance is strongly recommended. If staying at the attached resort, review what is included in any package carefully, as breakfast quality and activity inclusions have received mixed feedback from guests.

Visitor Reviews
Jungle Adventure Park is a family-friendly destination that’s great for spending quality time with kids. I visited during the year-end holiday with my family and my brother-in-law’s family (a total of 4 adults, 3 toddlers, and 1 teenager). Although it wasn’t too crowded, the waiting lines were acceptable and didn’t take away from the experience. The park isn’t very large, but it offers plenty of activities that are more toddler-friendly than other parks we’ve been to. While my toddler couldn’t enjoy the attractions independently, she managed to participate in many of the activities with my help, and she absolutely loved it. The variety of attractions meant she could engage in more playtime here compared to other adventure parks. Even our teenager found a few activities fun, though the park is primarily geared toward younger children. The space is green, clean, and well-maintained, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for families. There are a few standout attractions, such as trampolines, a water ride, and mini construction vehicles, which were a big hit with the kids. The park isn’t overwhelming in size, which makes it easier for parents to manage young children. Tickets can be a bit pricey if purchased individually, but they offer a 10-ticket bundle for 990 THB, which is much better value. If you’re staying at a nearby resort, tickets might even be included, making it even more worthwhile. Overall, Jungle Adventure Park is a great place to spend time with family, especially for toddlers who enjoy interactive and engaging activities. It’s not overly crowded or too big, making it a stress-free experience for parents. Definitely worth a visit for families with young kids!
It’s a nice place for children to play here . And a family to play here for a whole day. They have coffee bar and restaurant. Only very difficult to get a grab, cause there are not so many grab car here. Finally we got the grab car after 1 hour of try. The car from Jungle Adventure Park, they offer 1000 baht to send us to a 15 km place, we refused it . It is 5 times expensive than normal car rent. And finally we got a grab car at 190baht.
We stayed at the resort attached to the park. The rooms were nice but overpriced B4000 pool villa with breakfast and 3 activities per person (12 activities in total for family of 4 ) If the breakfast was good and the activities decent then the price would have been reasonable. The breakfast was standard American breakfast with cold hotdogs, dried up ham, fried eggs and toast or Khao Tom ( which was nice) although it took 20 mins to get condiments that are standard with rice soup. The activities at the park included in the room are not that fun except for the rollercoaster and water slide. The activities that looked fun are not included - surf and zip line. Most of the stations are unmanned, and a few are not safe at all. My son almost had an accident that might’ve ended very badly! I don’t have faith in the safety of this place and wouldn’t normal share such vulnerable video of my son. But I don’t want another child to end up hurt.

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries
Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.
Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide
These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.
Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning
Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
