ChangChui Creative Park
Tucked away in the Bang Phlat district of Bangkok, ChangChui Creative Park is an open-air destination that combines art, shopping, food, and nightlife within a sprawling industrial-styled space. Its most recognisable feature is a retired aircraft that has been converted into a restaurant and bar — a visually striking centrepiece that has made the park a popular spot for photography. Beyond the plane, visitors will find a mix of vintage clothing stalls, artisan shops, independent boutiques, and over ten restaurants and bars, alongside rotating art exhibitions and live events. The atmosphere shifts considerably depending on the time of day. During daylight hours the park is relatively quiet, with many vendors and stalls yet to open. The space comes alive in the evenings, when the full market is in operation, events take place, and the bars and restaurants fill with both locals and tourists. The park is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00, though visitors are strongly advised to arrive after dark to experience it at its best. A practical note worth keeping in mind: while some restaurants begin service from late morning, much of ChangChui does not fully open until evening. Arriving mid-afternoon may mean finding a largely empty market. For the most complete experience, plan to visit from around 17:00 onwards. The park is located on Sirindhorn Road in Bang Phlat, a short taxi or ride-share journey from central Bangkok, and sits slightly off the main tourist trail — which adds to its appeal for those looking to explore beyond the usual itinerary.

Visitor Reviews
Off the beaten path, even unkown to my Thai friends, lays this park. During the day, many stalls are selling all manner of goods, surrounded by a few restaurants and bars holding events like concerts. Walking around the Tri Star aircraft gives the whole area and at stange but interesting vibe.
It was a pleasant surprise! After I had a buffet and took five minutes taxi over. There were plenty of shops to shop around. Mainey vintage items. I love the vibes , there are over 10 restaurants and over eight bars! Live band was all over, you’re definitely need to check it out!
ChangChui is a wild blend of art, market and nightlife rolled into one. The centerpiece is a giant retired airplane turned into a restaurant/bar — quirky, visually striking and totally Instagrammable. Walk through open-air corridors filled with indie boutiques, street food stalls, cafés, and art installations. In the evening the place truly comes alive with lights, live music, and a creative crowd. It’s not perfect — on weekdays some shops remain closed, and it can feel quiet in parts. Also, the restaurant inside the plane tends to be pricey. But for a creative night out off the beaten tourist path, it delivers. Would definitely recommend going during evening hours (after 5 pm or so) to catch the energy. And if you want, I can also write a short version you can copy to Google Reviews.

Tips for Visiting Markets & Shopping
Haggle at Markets, Not Malls
Prices at market stalls are negotiable — start at 50–60% of the asking price and meet in the middle. Fixed-price shops and malls don't haggle. Smile and keep it friendly; aggressive bargaining is considered rude.
Arrive Early or Late
Vendors believe the first sale of the day is lucky — you'll often get a better deal if you arrive right when the market opens. Late in the evening, sellers may also discount to avoid packing unsold goods.
Be Cautious with Tailors
Bangkok has excellent tailors, but also many tourist traps. Avoid anyone offering suspiciously cheap suits or who approaches you on the street. Ask your hotel for recommendations, read reviews, and always get two fittings.
