Sea Dragon Dive Center

Sea Dragon is one of the original names of Khao Lak diving — a dive centre that has been running boats to the Similan Islands since the 1990s, before most of the town's dive industry existed. The program covers the classic Khao Lak spread: multi-day Similan liveaboards in the national park season, day trips to the islands and to Richelieu Rock — Thailand's most celebrated dive site — and the full training ladder from try-dives through professional courses, taught by a long-tenured international team. Decades of local operation show where it matters: boat crews who know the sites in every condition, honest calls on weather and visibility, and briefings with actual information in them. The shop sits on Khao Lak's main road amid the town's low-key restaurant strip, with the departure piers a short ride away. Good to know: the Similan park season runs roughly mid-October to mid-May — liveaboards book out well ahead for the December–March peak, so reserve early.
