สวนน้ำนิวตุ๊ก Newtook Water Park

4.2(110 reviews)

Newtook Water Park is a casual, family-oriented water park located in the quiet Lat Bua Luang district outside central Ayutthaya, offering an affordable way to cool off during Thailand's heat. With an entry fee of just 65 baht per person, the park includes a baby pool and a larger slide pool, making it a practical option for families travelling with young children or anyone seeking low-key water-based recreation. The park also offers on-site accommodation, meaning visitors can extend their stay for a more relaxed experience rather than treating it purely as a day trip. The atmosphere here is local and unpretentious rather than resort-style. The park is relatively small and seating around the pool areas can fill up quickly on busier days, so arriving early is advisable to secure a spot. Parking is available inside the grounds, though this is not immediately obvious from the entrance. Good to know: Safety provisions at the park are limited, with visitor reviews noting the absence of lifeguards and no wristband system to manage access to the pools. Parents with young children should supervise them closely at all times. Specific opening hours are not readily available online, so it is worth confirming locally before making the trip. The park pairs well as a half-day activity alongside Ayutthaya's historic temples, particularly on a hot afternoon when a swim provides welcome relief from sightseeing.

Tips for Visiting Activities & Tours

Vet Elephant Sanctuaries

Only visit sanctuaries that prohibit riding, use no chains or bullhooks, and let elephants roam freely. Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai set the standard. If a place offers painting shows or circus tricks, walk away.

Book Through Klook or GetYourGuide

These platforms offer instant confirmation, free cancellation on most activities, and prices that are often lower than walk-up rates. Compare with local agencies for multi-day trips where negotiation might save more.

Do Outdoor Activities in the Morning

Heat and humidity peak from noon to 3 PM. Schedule jungle treks, cycling tours, and outdoor cooking classes for early morning. Water activities are more flexible since you're in and out of the sea.
