Yoga On the Beach Railey (by Yoga Balance)
Perched on the shores of Railay Beach in Krabi, this open-air yoga experience offered by Yoga Balance brings together skilled instruction and one of southern Thailand's most dramatic natural backdrops. Classes are led by Arisa, the owner, and her team, who are praised by visitors for their professionalism, warm teaching style, and genuine attention to detail. Everything needed for practice is provided on-site, including yoga mats and towels, making it easy for travellers to join without any equipment of their own. The standout offering is the sunset class, which takes place as the limestone cliffs of Railay glow in the fading light and the beach settles into a quieter rhythm. Instructors are noted for guiding classes with a strong, well-paced flow while remaining welcoming to participants of varying experience levels. Visitors have also appreciated that instructors take photographs during sessions, a thoughtful touch for those wanting to capture the setting. Booking in advance is recommended, as classes are run on a scheduled basis and spaces may be limited. Prospective visitors can reach out directly to arrange a session — past guests have noted that contact with the team, including via messaging, is straightforward and responsive. Railay Beach is accessible only by boat from Ao Nang, so factor in a short longtail boat transfer when planning the visit. Arriving for a sunset class is particularly popular, so aim to arrange transport with enough time to reach the beach comfortably before the session begins.

Visitor Reviews
The most amazing experience and instructor, I HIGHLY recommend booking this class which is run by Arisa (the owner). She is so lovely and it’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful sunset!
I had the pleasure of joining a yoga class on Railay Beach, and it was exceptional. The teacher clearly put a lot of thought into every detail—she provided everything from yoga mats to towels for brushing off the sand, and even water bottles for everyone. The session itself was unlike any yoga class I’ve taken, with fresh flows and unique poses that were new to me. The real magic happened as the sun began to set—practicing yoga with the breathtaking sunset as a backdrop made the experience even more special. At one point, she even paused the class to take photos of us with the stunning sunset in the background—a beautiful way to capture the moment. If you’re seeking a truly unique yoga experience in Railay Beach, I highly recommend this class!
I wanted to visit Railay beach and found the opportunity of also practicing yoga here. I got in contact with Den and booked a class. It was such a lovely experience, especially during sunset! Den is a very good instructor and leaded us according to our ability. We practiced several poses, focusing on strengthening, balancing and finding inner peace. Will definitely recommend to anyone who likes practicing yoga and even who is just a beginner!
Tips for Visiting Wellness & Spas
Learn Wat Pho First
Wat Pho in Bangkok is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage education. Their on-site massage pavilion offers excellent treatments from students and graduates at reasonable prices — and you know the technique is authentic.
Communicate Pressure Preferences
Thai massage can be intense. Say 'bao bao' for lighter pressure or 'nак nак' for harder. A good therapist will check in, but don't hesitate to speak up — suffering in silence defeats the purpose.
Book Longer Sessions
A 60-minute massage is fine, but 90 or 120 minutes allows the therapist to work thoroughly. The price difference is often only 200–400 THB for an extra hour — worth it for a deeper, more relaxing experience.
