Take the Sleeper Train at Least Once

About Pak Bara Pier
Pak Bara is the pier in La-ngu district, Satun, where the boats to Koh Lipe and the Tarutao national park islands leave, and it's the one way to Lipe that runs all year. Bundhaya's speedboats leave for Lipe at 11:30 and 13:30, with a 09:30 added from December, take about 1 hour 30 and cost ฿700, and come back from Lipe at 09:30, 11:30 and 13:30.
Most people arrive on a combined van-and-boat ticket from Hat Yai, about two and a half hours by road from the airport, for ฿950 all in, or from Trang.
